Connie Pallas, 67, of Stevensville, passed away, Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at home. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Mrs. Pallas was born March 19, 1939 in Stevensville to Thomas & Esther (Siemon) Skorupa. On March 20, 1961, she married Ralph Pallas. He preceded her in death in 1988. Connie enjoyed flower gardening, watching cooking shows on TV and then trying the recipes, playing with her Gameboy, and most of all-spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Pallas was a loving mother to Jack Pallas, Jeff Pallas, Cathleen Chartrand, Christine Pallas; loving grandmother to Chelsey, Alyse, Ashley, Jacob, Jordan, Megan, Marcus; and a loving sister to Mac, Don, Cliff & Ray Skorupa. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters-Victoria Hackel & Mary Smith, and two brothers-Wilbur & Thomas Skorupa.
