Harry's Obituary
Harris “Harry” Thomas Carson, 82, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in his home. Burial will be private at a later date. The Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Those wishing to leave a memorial in Harry’s memory may do so with a charity of the donor’s choice. Harry was born June 8, 1924 in Clyde, Texas to Harris Edward & Icyle Carson. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and was stationed in the Pacific. On July 25, 1975 he married Suzanne Travis. While living in the area, he worked as director of Engineering Services for the Zenith Corporation. Harry’s passion was golfing, and he spent much of his leisure time on the golf course.
Harry is survived by his wife, Suzanne; two children, Ronald Keith Carson and Deborah Leigh Mc Cabe, both of Houston, TX; by five grandchildren; and by his sister, Dorothy Weismann of Kingsville, Texas.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Edward.
