Edward's Obituary
Edward Arthur Adams, 90, of Coloma, MI, passed away at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI, on Wednesday – August 21, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.
Ed was born on September 21, 1933 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Edward and Dorothea (Adams) Orlasky.
Ed attended Benton Harbor High School and graduated from Michigan State University with an Engineering Degree. He worked at various places including Whirlpool, Sprague Devices, and was a substitute teacher in several school districts. Ed served his country while being a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. His hobbies included playing chess with his grandsons, antique shopping, studying his Bible and spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his wife Glenna Adams and numerous children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister – Constance Simmons.
Private services will be held with Ed’s final resting place being at the Coloma Cemetery in Coloma, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
