Norma Jean's Obituary
Norma Jean Webb, 93, passed away peacefully in Covert on August 2, 2024, surrounded by her daughters. She was born on September 28, 1930, in Carbondale, Illinois to the late Horace and Truly (Collie) Greer. A private graveside service was held at Covert Cemetery in Covert, MI.
Norma is survived by four daughters, Angela Hester, Samantha Andrews, Debra (Kenneth) Jackson, and Ramona (Stan) Heath. Also, surviving are five grandchildren, Aaron (Sono) Robinson, Brittany Jeffery, Bryan Jeffery, Jordan (LaTora) Heath, and Joshua Heath; four great-grandchildren, Luke Robinson, Lillith Jeffery, Zola Heath, and Ezekiel Heath. She has seven siblings surviving, Shirley Thomas, Morris Greer, Nancy Walker, Barbara Lemons, Michael Greer, John Young, and Jesse Greer. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel Webb; two sons, Gregory and Wilford Webb; two grandsons, Gregory Hester and Andrew Nichols; and four siblings, Harliss Greer, Brenda Greer, Ramona Henderson, and Bernard Greer.
Before retiring, Norma worked as an assistant to the librarian at Covert Elementary School. She was formerly a member of Covert Community Church.
